1. Walk quietly into class with notebook/book, pencils sharpened, homework, etc. and sit in assigned seat. 2.If there is a daily activity on the board, begin it without being told. 3.Participate in group/class discussions and be sure to raise your hand to ask or answer a question. 4.Do not leave your seat without permission. 5.Participate in a positive role while during labs. 6.Do not ask to leave the room during whole group learning unless it is an emergency. 7.Respect another student’s right to learn by being quiet. (No talking with other students unless working together on a lab or project.) 8.Be open to new things, other ideas, and helping other students who may need assistance (except where this violates Kestrel's Honor Code eg. cheating). 9.No eating or gum chewing is allowed in the science room. 10. On lab days students must wear closed toe shoes. 11.School rule: 3 tardies to class are recorded as 1 absence. 20 absences for the year by State Law may result in you receiving no credit for the class.
